Shadow is the dark area where light from a light source is blocked. I explored this as the embodiment of the dark side of human nature. Every part of ourselves that we loathe or are ashamed of and therefore hide and avoid.I have given the Shadow a face: the black mask. The white mask joins this story as the light counter to the shadow. Good versus evil. We are running away from our shadow by crawling behind a mask. Are we fooling ourselves?
